1. Carpets & Fitted Flooring
Clean and Go (Pty) Ltd. cannot be held responsible for colour bleeding or damage to carpets resulting from poor quality manufacturing, over-dyeing, pre-existing wear and tear, or imitation materials. Additionally, Clean and Go cannot be held responsible for the following pre-existing or underlying conditions: pet urine damage or contamination that has penetrated the underlay or subfloor; decay, brittleness, or deterioration due to old age; fair wear and tear; damaged, rotten, or waterlogged underfelt; any previous damage caused by prior cleaning contractors; or carpets that have been treated with incorrect over-the-counter chemicals or products prior to our visit. Where such conditions are identified before or during cleaning, the customer will be advised accordingly.
2. Loose Rugs & Persian Rugs
Authentic and hand-knotted rugs are inspected prior to cleaning. Where a rug shows signs of fragility, colour instability, or pre-existing damage, the customer will be advised before cleaning proceeds. Some rugs require soaking to effectively remove certain stains or urine contamination — Clean and Go cannot be held responsible for any stretching, colour runs, or fading that may occur during or after this process. Clean and Go cannot be held liable for deterioration that results from the rug's pre-existing condition or the inherent characteristics of its materials or dyes.
3. Upholstery & Mattresses
Clean and Go cannot be held responsible for any deterioration, discolouration, fuzz, pilling, shrinkage, or damage to upholstery fabric or mattress materials that arises from pre-existing wear, poor fabric quality, or the natural characteristics of the material. Our team uses fabric-appropriate cleaning solutions and methods; however, some materials may respond unpredictably to cleaning regardless of the method used. Customers will be advised of any visible risks prior to cleaning where possible.
4. Satisfaction & Rewash Policy
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your cleaning, please notify us within 7 days of delivery or completion. We will gladly rewash or re-clean the item free of charge. Notifications received after 7 days cannot be considered under this policy.
5. Uncollected Items
All loose rugs and carpets left uncollected at our Garsfontein premises for more than 90 days will be sold or disposed of to defray storage and handling costs. Customers will be contacted using the details provided at the time of booking before any such action is taken.
